Traveling in Cambodia

Here are a few more pictures from temples in the Angkor area:

The two pictures below show the causeway leading to Angkor Wat.  My pictures of Angkor Wat itself didn't turn out very well - you can see much better ones by doing a Google image search.

I traveled by boat to a town called Batambang, passing through many fishing villages.

It's clear that Cambodia is less developed than Thailand. I'm wondering if you'll find any ancient temple ruins in Vietnam. Happy trails.

Karl,

Very moving, especially being reminded of how our lives are SO different from those of many folks in our world. Heart-opening....the photos from your boat travel.

Wonderful temple photos. I love the temple amidst the tree roots!

Sending love,

I think you pictures are fine. This is the second time you have visited Angkor Wat, right? Do you notice any differences either in the place or your perception?
Keep livin the dream!
Look forward to catching up if you every have the crazy idea of coming back home.

Hi Darrell - actually I've only been to Angkor Wat once, although I did spent three days exploring the area... It'll be good to catch up in a couple of months!
